As part of the
125th anniversary celebration of the Actors Fund, "The
Life of an Actor," a panel moderated by WNYC's Leonard
Lopate, will take place at 8:15 p.m. on June 4 at
the 92nd Street Y in New York City. Panelists include
Harvey Fierstein (Hairspray, Torch Song Trilogy),
Charles Busch (The Tale of the Allergist's
Wife), Michael Beresse (A Chorus Line, The
Light in the Piazza), and Christian Hoff
(Jersey Boys). The actors will "share
stories about how they made it through the lean years
and the new challenges they encountered when they
became better-known," according to a press release.
